Application deadline: Friday, December 17, 2021
Overview
NDCI, in partnership with the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy, developed a training program based Standard II of the Adult Drug Court Best Practice Standards, equity and inclusion. This training program is for jurisdictions interested in addressing racial disparities and bias to ensure equivalent access, retention, treatment, incentives and sanctions and dispositions. This training is designed to provide attendees with skills and to improve outcomes for the treatment court program.
Who Should Attend?
This workshop is designed for full treatment court teams. Because the workshop is highly interactive and focuses on group decision-making and consensus, the training experience will be enhanced by the attendance of as many team members as possible. NDCI requires the attendance of these members of treatment court team:
- Judge
- Prosecutor
- Court coordinator
- Treatment provider
- Community supervision representative
- Defense attorney
- Law enforcement officer
- Key stakeholders' representatives from other programs in the criminal justice system
