New: two-step submission process

April 14, 2021: full application due to JustGrants
NADCP is pleased to announce U.S. Department of Justice grant solicitations to support adult drug courts, tribal healing to wellness courts, DWI courts, and veterans treatment courts have been released.
Adult Drug Court and Veterans Treatment Court Discretionary Grant Program:
Category 1: Implementation grants for veterans treatment courts
Award amount: $500,000 each
Award period: 48 months
Category 2: Enhancement grants for operational veterans treatment courts
Award amount: $500,000 each
Award period: 48 months
Category 3: Grants for operational treatment courts or treatment courts "fully ready to implement"
Award amount: $500,000 each
Award period: 48 months
Category 4: Grants for implementing statewide strategies to support treatment courts
Award amount: $1.5 million each
Award period: 48 months
Applicants are required to complete a new two-step submission process:
March 31, 2021: the SF-242 and SF-LLL must be submitted to Grants.gov
April 14, 2021: the full application must be submitted to JustGrants
BJA will conduct an applicant webinar that includes a detailed overview of the application and review of submitted questions. Date, time, and registration details for the event are coming soon.

Overview Webinar
In a recent webinar event, Bureau of Justice Assistance Policy Advisor Greg Torain reviewed the grant solicitation and answers questions from applicants. The webinar recording is available from the National Drug Court Resource Center (NDCRC).
Submission Webinar
Applicants must begin the application process at Grants.gov. After applying in Grants.gov, the remaining application information and forms will be transferred to JustGrants and automatically appear when you access your application in JustGrants.

Proposal Narrative Templates
Templates for applicants drafting the narrative section of their proposal are available from NDCRC. Each template outlines required elements for solicitation, the percentage score for the element, and what is critical to include in each element. Review of the templates are a must for any applicant.
Additional Information for Applicants
New this year, grant applicants must comply with Executive Order 13929 Safe Policing for Safe Communities. See the grant solicitations for details on complying with the order.
