DEFENSE COUNSEL TRAINING

The National Drug Court Institute asked Defense Attorneys from across the country to assist with developing a comprehensive training for Drug Court Defense Counsel. The resulting curriculum prepares Defense Attorneys for the complex role of representing a client in drug court or other problem-solving courts. All presentations and information is cutting-edge and research based.

Training participants will hear seasoned Defense Counsel discuss the paradigm shift that occurs in drug court. Through real-life scenarios, Defense Attorneys will have the opportunity to evaluate legal and ethical dilemmas in the drug court field.

"I have been to a lot of courses.  This is by far the best conference I have been to.  All the information and lectures were relevant and engaging.  It was the best organized conference with the best materials and relevant handouts that I will read later."

"This training, by far, exceeded my expectations.  Anyone who participates in drug court as a defense counsel should attend this program."
