CHILD WELFARE TRAINING IS FOR YOU!

Overview
This two and a half-day comprehensive training is designed for child welfare professionals working with family dependency treatment courts.  Family dependency treatment courts work towards safety and permanency for children and the restoration of healthy families.  This training focuses on in-depth information that will assist the child welfare practitioner in their work on the multi-disciplinary Drug Court team. 

What better way to empower drug-using parents to change their lives than with the promise of NDCI’s proven strategies and dynamic training?   Topics will include, but are not limited to:

  • Needs of the child and the family
  • Collaborative practice, case planning
  • Co-occurring disorders
  • Understanding addiction treatment
  • Understanding barriers to reunification

Child Welfare Workers who are working or will soon be working with Family Dependency Treatment Courts that are fully-operational or in the planning or start-up phase.
