NDCI, in collaboration with the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) within the Office of Justice Programs at the Department of Justice and the Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT) within the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), is pleased to announce the launch of the Mentor Adult Drug Treatment Courts.
Mentor Courts serve as models for individuals and court teams interested in starting an Adult Drug Court or for established courts interested in learning innovative practices.
Visit requests are reviewed based on the needs of the applying jurisdiction to include which Mentor Court would best serve those needs. If approved, NDCI can fund up to three (3) visitors from an applying jurisdiction. Costs covered include transportation, lodging, and meals. Airline tickets and hotel are paid for directly by NDCI with other expenses reimbursed upon completion of the visit. All funded visitors are required to complete a brief, online evaluation upon their return and before reimbursement.
